About gamer AI characters

Gamer characters are adults whose free evenings belong to a screen: ranked-ladder grinders, co-op regulars, retro collectors and tabletop campaign runners, each a fictional character made by AI and 18 or older. Many backstories draw on what players remember, such as a tournament run that fell apart in the last round, a streaming channel that took off by accident, a saved game they will never delete. Many talk fast, tease well and notice the details you let slip.

Type a word such as streamer, esports or tabletop into search, which looks at names and roles, or scroll the grid and let the hook lines choose for you. The chips above the grid move you to other roles and moods for a change of pace, and under Personality in Filters, look for Playful or Adventurous. The profile shows what kind of player a character is.

Feever is a chat, not a game server, so nobody hands you a controller; the play happens in the conversation. Trade banter, argue about a boss fight, or announce a scene, such as a heist or a dungeon, and the character plays along. Memory works like a save file you control: short notes with your name and what you like, open to reading, editing or deleting. A guest gets 10 messages in total, a free account 30 each day.

Questions, answered

What are gamer AI characters on Feever?
Fictional adults for whom games take up real room in life: competitive players, co-op regulars, collectors and tabletop storytellers. None is a real streamer or a real pro player; each is made by AI and is 18 or older.
Can a gamer character play games with me?
Not the way a console would: Feever is a chat, so there is no game to launch. What you can do is talk about games, swap strategy and recommendations, or turn the conversation itself into one by setting a scene, such as a heist or a boss run, and steering it by saying so. The character keeps to the tone of its profile.
How do I find a gamer character who fits how I play?
Read the hook line on each card for the mood and the profile for the story; a character might be a sharp-tongued competitor, a relaxed co-op friend or a nostalgic collector. Search matches names and roles, Filters narrows by age, style, look and personality, and a few short chats are a fair way to find your match.
Do I have to pay to chat with a gamer character?
Not to get going. Guests can send 10 messages and keep those chats when they sign up; a free account then gives you 30 per day. Premium takes the daily limit away, within a fair-use guard. Feeves, the virtual currency, are only for optional extras, and the price is shown before you pay.
Will a gamer character remember my favorite games?
Characters keep short memory notes, such as your name and what you like, so a favorite genre can end up in there. The notes are yours to read, edit and delete in the memory panel, and you can ask a character to forget everything, much like wiping a save.
