The personality is built around thoughtful questions and the exchange of ideas. Each character is fictional, AI-generated and 18 or older, so treat what they say as conversation and check anything that matters.
Choose by curiosity. The backstory on a profile tells you what a character reads, studies or argues about, and a card’s hook can double as the opening question. Search matches names and roles. In Filters you can pair this personality with another, mysterious for an edge or playful for humor.
Bring a topic and a position. An intellectual character asks follow-up questions, presses on weak points and will argue the other side if you ask it to. Chatting needs no account at first: the guest limit is 10 messages in total, and free accounts get 30 each day. Not blindly. Intellectual characters are written to enjoy ideas, not to be an authority, and an AI character can be confidently wrong. Use the conversation to think and to find questions worth checking, and verify anything that matters, such as health, money or legal questions, with a reliable source.
Will an intellectual character debate me?
Yes, if you want that. It will ask what you mean, press on weak points and defend a view with reasons. You can also ask it to argue the opposite side for practice, or to stop and simply talk. Disagreement stays friendly: the personality is curious, not combative.
Is it free to chat with intellectual characters?
You can start without an account: 10 messages in total as a guest, 30 a day on a free account, and no daily limit on Premium within a fair-use guard. Long discussions use plenty of messages. Feeves are separate and only pay for extras such as romantic messages, with the price shown first.
